This place is awesome! Bill did an amazing job doing the second-hole ear piercings for my daughter. He made her feel comfortable, explained her aftercare, and made sure she understood. He even fixed the spacing that the place that did her first piercing messed up and made sure that she would be able to get a third hole if she wants to later. All in all, it's a great place to get work done.

We took my 10 year old daughter to get her ears pierced and Josh did an amazing job! She was pretty nervous going in, but he made her feel comfortable, kept the mood light, and explained everything to her as he went. She is over the moon and had an amazing experience. Thanks Josh!

This place is cuuuuute. I only went for a flash sale and went with a GWYG gumball. I loved the one I got, everything went smoothly. Time was a bit of an issue. My tattoo time was for 530 and didn't get work until at least 7pm. There were only two artists and one quit before the flash sale so he was working alone. I completely understand the reasoning, just don't go there in a rush. Everyone was nice and helpful esp the front desk person. I will return for a flash sale again, they did me good.

Such a great experience. Brought my 2 year old in to get her ears pierced. The shop was super clean, with a fun and chill atmosphere. Bill made my girl feel comfortable and calm. It is clear that he has tons of experience, which made this nervous mama feel at ease. He made sure all my questions were answered prior to the piercing. He also made sure to give aftercare instructions to send me home with. My baby can’t stop looking at herself in the mirror! So happy! Thanks Bill!!

Today my 7 yr old daughter finally decided on her own that she wanted to get her ears pierced. Being that this was a spur of the moment decision on her part… I quickly jumped onto Google to do some research and make some calls. We were referred to Altered Ego by a local tattoo shop (that didn’t offer children’s ear piercings). I could not have been happier with the whole experience. When I called, Bill was available so we drove right up there! He was beyond fantastic with my daughter. She was excited and amped up and ready to go on the way there and of course got super nervous when it started to get real with the set up. He was so kind explaining to her that if she decided she didn’t want it done that he would stop and they didn’t need to go any further. He explained to her that no is a very serious word and that this was her choice and explained boundaries to her. As a single mother this was very much appreciated! Bill walked her through every step of the way. Answered questions over and over again and was so patient and kind. Very silly, very happy go lucky and put her right at ease again. Of course those two little ear pinches hurt for a second, but he continued to talk her through it all. He was very meticulous about everything and the shop was so clean and nice. Bill was very thorough about aftercare and explaining the importance of being responsible and keeping her ears cleaned. And of course, I’m one of those mothers that likes to take pictures of everything so he had no problem at all, letting me video and take pictures of this fun experience for her. I can’t thank Bill and the staff enough for making it such a memorable experience for the both of us. I highly recommend if you’re looking to get your little one’s ears pierced to ask for Bill.
